About Us
Founded in 2024 by Jacob, snappy cactus media aims to deliver high-quality creative media. Whether it’s for building brand image, capturing a special day or realising a creative goal/story, we are here to help.
Offering a wide range of long-term experience in all forms of film & video, snappy cactus is confident it can deliver for you, we operate out of Hampshire but can travel the country, and even the world to help you with your projects.
A bit about Jacob…
I was born in Tonbridge, but spent most of my years growing up on the Isle of Wight. I have had a passion for making films for a long time, I edited my first whole video at 11! After leaving school I took a couple years to gain real world experience before reentering education, I started doing a lot of freelancing and decided I want to pursue video, So at 19 I did Media at the Isle of Wight college, and went onto do Film Production at Solent University. In that time I have not only continued to work on freelance projects & corporate work, but I have also gained a wealth of experience from working on set for short movies, documentaries and the like.
My Experience

Corporate
Although I completed my first corporate video in 2020, I started regularly working on a large range of corporate videos in late 2024, since then I have built up a range of skills. I’ve worked on animated adverts, as well as a range of different video styles for company websites & social media.

Film
I have always loved films (who doesn’t!) but while studying Film Production at Solent University, I grew a deeper appreciation for them. I have worked a lot of different roles within a film crew, ranging from Director, 1st Assistant Director, Cinematographer, Producer & much more.

Editing/Post Production
This is where it all started. When I was 11 years old I began editing video game footage on Sony Vegas and fell in love, since then I have edited a wide range content on tons of different applications and platforms. I am confident I can meet your editing and post production needs, whatever they are.
